AIMS AND SCOPE

BLOOD CELL THERAPY is an international journal publishing peer-reviewed original and review articles in the field of all aspects of hematopoietic cell transplantation. Not only clinical research, but also basic research relevant to cell therapy are covered. The scope of our journal encompasses wide variety of clinical or basic topics including:

  • Results of trials with new protocols
  • Transplant-related complications
  • Transplant outcome studies dealing with QOL, psychology, economy, or regional characteristics
  • Prognostic analysis based on biomarkers
  • Translational research
  • Transplantation immunology
  • Cellular or gene therapy

Advertisement policy

BLOOD CELL THERAPY -The Official Journal of APBMT– does not accept advertising from pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers, or any other commercial entities to avoid potential conflicts of interest in editorial decision-making and to avoid advertisements by companies with potentially competing interests appearing alongside articles published in the journal.

Income sources for the journal’s operation

BLOOD CELL THERAPY is fully funded by its operating body, APBMT (Asia-Pacific Blood and Marrow Transplantation Group). APBMT has corporate status as a general incorporated association (non-profit type) in Japan and is funded mainly by donations from supporting companies and organizations and partly by membership fees. They have no involvement in the review process or the judgment/evaluation of submissions for adoption/publication by BLOOD CELL THERAPY
